Pocket-lint have published their review of the Pure Sensia DAB (Digital Audio Broadcast) device. 'The Sensia is loud for quite a small speaker device. In fact it has two 3-inch drive units with a total output of 30W RMS and it handles deep bass quite well. It's no audiophile grade speaker, but as a radio/iPod docking station for the kitchen or the bedroom it definitely does the job. With the Aux-in option you can also add a boost to the top volume setting, but this just seems to seriously distort the sound without giving it any real increase. First impressions on build quality and design are that the Sensia resembles one of those 1970s TV sets that tried to appear futuristic. It looks a bit like a monitor from a low budget sci-fi film. But it is charming in its own, rugby ball shaped way despite the thick plasticy appearance.'

Trusted Reviews have published their review of the Pure Sensia DAB radio. 'At first starting up the Sensia is a little awkward due to the fact that the power button, which does look like a button, isn't one. Instead it's a touch sensitive strip, requiring you to hold your finger on it to activate it. It also doubles as the snooze button, where you simply cover it with your palm to delay the inevitable. If at first this seems odd, once you understand how it works it's intuitive enough.'

PC Advisor have published a review of the Pure Sensia audio streaming device. 'DAB radio and wireless streaming devices are fairly commonplace these days, but the Pure Sensia has no trouble standing out from the crowd thanks to the inclusion of a large touchscreen display. Far from being a superficial addition, the Pure Sensia's large 5.7in capacitive glass touchscreen transforms the radio interface beyond all recognition. One thing's for sure, it's hard to back to a regular remote control after you've handled one of these for a while. With a with a reasonable resolution of 640x480 the screen is great to look at, and functions as both a display for menus, station information, and an assortment of other goodies.'
