Pure-Evoke-1S-Marshall-Trusted-Reviews.jpg

Trusted Reviews have published a review of the Pure Evoke-1S Marshall digital radio. 'The styling of the Pure Evoke-1S Marshall is obviously an homage to the classic Marshall amp look with black vinyl covering, big chunky plastic corner protectors, a large rubber handle, white Marshall logo, and gold hardware. It's certainly not going to be to everyone's taste but within the confines of making a radio that looks like a Marshall amp, it's about as good as we would expect. Build quality, though, is not up for debate. Just as the company's amps are built to survive a life on the road, so the Evoke-1S Marshall is equipped to brush aside all that a kitchen window sill or shed shelf can meter out. Those corner protectors should save this radio from any severe damage from falls, unless you're unfortunate enough to have it land straight on one of the knobs.

PC Advisor have published a review of the Pure Evoke Mio portable digital radio. 'The Evoke Mio has an unobtrusive, neo-retro design; it looks a little bit like a funky suitcase or a fasionista's lunch box. It feels sturdily built, and it has a bit of heft to it. It ships with a rechargeable battery pack and has a carry handle on top, so you can carry it around the home or take it outdoors. It also has an FM tuner and an auxiliary input that lets you connect an external audio source, such as an MP3 player. The front of the Evoke Mio is not overcrowded with too many buttons and labels.'

CNET have published a review of the Pure Evoke Flow (Digital Audio Broadcst) radio. 'On the back of the radio you have the FM antenna, power-adapter socket, aux input, stereo output, headphone output, aux speaker out, and USB port. Although we think it would be more convenient to have the headphone output located on the front panel, it's nonetheless an impressive amount of connectivity. One port not offered, however, is the Ethernet input included on the rival Squeezebox Radio. For an Internet radio geared toward portability, the lack of a hardwired Internet connection isn't a deal-breaker for us, but it's worth noting for the sake of comparison.'
