Sony-Walkman-NWZ-A845-CNET-Asia.jpg

A review of the Sony Walkman NWZ-A845 (16GB) player has been posted over at CNET Asia. 'Unlike Sony's other OLED Walkman, the touchscreen X-Series, the A-Series features the company's now traditional Mickey Mouse button layout. Quite how they haven't been sued by the Walt Disney Company is still beyond us; nonetheless, the metal buttons are--you can take a swig now--a tactile delight. The menu system looks good and is simple to navigate. Our only major criticism is that it sometimes takes a few clicks to stop and start music as the center button functions as both an Enter key, as well as a play/pause button.'

Zath.co.uk have published a review of the Zath.co.uk MP3 player. 'Perhaps the most obvious thing to look at first with the Sony Walkman A845 is exactly that: how it looks. Whilst I have to say that I found the design a little bit off putting to start with (the screen seemed a little too big which in turn made the silver bottom look a little odd) but as with so many things it doesn't take long to grow on you - although once you've noticed it you won't forget the fact that the buttons look oddly like Mickey mouse!'

Sony-E345-RealmoftheFoxSpirit.jpg

The Realm of the Fox Spirit have published a review of the Sony Walkman E NWZ E345 portable media player. 'The Sony player is smaller than I expected and pretty lightweight but still sizeable enough to have a decent screen size. It came in red and black and I went with red (though it honestly looks kinda pinky to me.) I did notice Best Buy also has a lovely violet if you're willing to pay more, so maybe there are other colors Amazon doesn't carry. As with similar devices it seems rather prone to scratches particularly on screen so I plan on investing in a cover soon since it'll probably get bopped around in my car or in my pocket. It includes a USB cord for both charging and data transfer, and it says it takes about 2 hours to fully charge for about 30 hours of play. So far I have found the battery life good.'
