The new Prestigio PMR-701 (portable multimedia recorder) is set for release across Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. 'With the PMR-701, you can record video or static frames from external A/V sources such as TV, VCR, or camcorder. PMR models with optional integrated TV tuner can also be used for watching air or cable TV. Furthermore, you can watch movies or view photos «on the go», since the Recorder has a 3.5 inch LCD display (320x240 pixels) ensuring excellent picture quality. For photos, there is also a slide-show function that turns the PMR into an electronic photo album. On top of that, the device can also be used as E-Book thanks to text file viewing support. The integrated clock function supports programmable TV recording.'
